Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Takniki Shiksha Vidhaan Council, we aim to deliver high-quality programs and services, including Yoga Retreats, Corporate Yoga Programs, Yogasana Sports Programs, Online and Offline Classes, and various other offerings. This policy governs cancellations, refunds, and other financial aspects to ensure transparency and compliance with applicable laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and relevant tax regulations.

By enrolling in our programs or services, you agree to abide by the terms specified herein.

1. Applicability of the Policy

This policy applies to the following offerings:

• Yoga Retreats: Residential and non-residential retreats.
• Corporate Yoga Programs: On-site and virtual sessions for corporate clients.
• Yogasana Sports Programs: Training, events, and competitions.
• Online Classes: Digital courses, workshops, and live sessions.
• Offline Classes: In-person classes, YCB-approved courses, and college programs.
• Custom Courses: Organization-developed courses for individuals or groups.

2. General Cancellation Rules

Non-Cancellable Services:

• Payments for Yoga Retreats, Corporate Yoga Programs, and short-term events are non-refundable once registration or booking is confirmed.
• Certain courses and programs may carry specific cancellation terms outlined during registration.

Eligibility for Cancellations:

• Requests for cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to enquiry@taknikishiksha.org.in at least 15 days prior to the start date of the program or service.
• Cancellation requests for ongoing courses, workshops, or programs will not be entertained.

3. Refund Policy

a. Refund Terms by Program Type Yoga Retreats:

• Cancellations made 30 days or more before the retreat start date are eligible for a 50% refund of the total payment.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat start date.
• Administrative and processing fees, if applicable, will be deducted from the refund amount.

Corporate Yoga Programs:

• Payments made for corporate programs are non-refundable.
• Rescheduling of sessions may be accommodated with prior written notice and approval from the organization.

Yogasana Sports Programs:

• Registration fees for events, competitions, or training sessions are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• In cases where the event is canceled by the organization, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered.

Online and Offline Classes (Including YCB-Approved and Custom Courses):

• Fees for online classes, workshops, and offline programs are non-refundable after the program start date.
• Refunds for cancellations made 15 days prior to the program start date may be considered, subject to a 20% administrative deduction.

b. Refunds for Technical Issues

• In case of double payments or technical glitches, refund requests must be submitted within 7 business days of the transaction.
• Verified claims will be refunded within 15 business days, minus applicable processing fees.

4. Special Terms for Custom Courses and College Programs

Custom Courses:

• Fees for courses tailored to specific client or institutional needs are non-refundable.
• Modifications or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing at least 15 days prior to the start of the course.

College Programs:

• Refund policies for college-based programs are governed by specific agreements between the organization and the institution.
• Students or institutions must refer to their signed contract for cancellation and refund details.

5. Force Majeure Clause

The organization is not liable for cancellations or refunds caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

In such cases, the organization will:

• Reschedule the program or event to a future date.
• Provide a partial refund at the organization’s discretion, subject to administrative deductions.

6. Legal Compliance

This policy is designed to comply with the following:

• Consumer Protection Act, 2019: Ensures fair practices for cancellations and refunds.
• Information Technology Act, 2000: Governs online transactions and data privacy.
• Indian Contract Act, 1872: Establishes the validity of contractual agreements.
• GST Act, 2017: Refunds will comply with applicable tax regulations.

7. Dispute Resolution and Grievance Redressal

a. Grievance Officer

All disputes or grievances related to cancellations and refunds can be directed to the HR Department (hr@taknikishiksha.org.in).

• Complaints will be acknowledged within 7 business days and resolved within 30 business days in accordance with legal guidelines.

b. Arbitration and Jurisdiction

• Any unresolved disputes shall be resolved through arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
• The exclusive jurisdiction for legal matters shall lie with the courts of Delhi, India.

8. Amendments to the Policy

Takniki Shiksha Vidhaan Council reserves the right to update or amend this policy at its discretion. Any changes will be published on our website and will take effect immediately. Users are advised to review the policy periodically to stay informed.
